Egypt’s Damietta send-out still missing from the balance
Kpler saw no LNG discharge at Damietta after 29 July. The unit that was covering a large slice of Egyptian send-out has not been replaced.
Energos Winter remains out of service. Trade reporting put Damietta FSRU capacity in the order of 450 million cubic feet per day still offline, with no official return date. A tanker that arrived just before the fire (HL Fortuna) could not discharge. Talk of a temporary replacement is still unconfirmed.
Egypt appears to have leaned on other pipes and molecules: higher Israeli pipeline flows, more fuel oil in the power sector, and LNG via Jordan / Aqaba. That is a workaround, not a substitute for a working Damietta FSRU if summer demand stays high.
